What is AASocial@topica.com ?
AASocial@topica.com has been created for discussion of any topic members of AA would like to discuss. Unlike our original list AAService, where discussion is strictly limited to AA service structure related issues and the more formal discussion of AAGroup, at AASocial@topica.com we welcome all discussion… from social to recovery.
Some rules of kindness to live by still apply here, such as;
1) No hate mail or pornography
2) No personal attacks against individual members of the list
3) No spam (including chain letters & virus warnings)
4) Please do not send the entire list any daily reflections found in a meditation book. Please send only original content to the list or start a separate list for any daily messages you would like to send. If unsure, the best way to figure it out is to ask yourself if you wrote the e-mail or if you are just forwarding it.
5) Do unto others as you would have them do unto you
This list is NOT a "meeting", however please remember that recovering alcoholics who may be new to AA and non-members may be reading what you post. This free service is provided by alcoholicsanonymous.org and is not affiliated with Alcoholics Anonymous World Services, Inc
How it works!

"Uncensored" meaning that we will not be checking every post, we hope that each person on the list will edit themselves before posting to the list. ."moderated" meaning that we will attempt to filter out any spam (also known as junk mail) or personal attacks. We may also remove members from the list, for sending attached files or HTML e-mail. Any person may be removed from this list, without reason or warning, at the discretion of the listkeepers.
